Field day this year turned out to be a real test for us. First the Van refused to start regardless of Lee’s (N0JOF) many efforts.
We then decided to operate in the van where it sat. Next the generator stopped working properly, requiring us to use AC power from Lee’s shed.
The third thing that did not go as planned was Leo’s collapsible vertical antenna would not collapse. Thanks to Lee we were able to operate with two of his antennas.
Regardless of the problems we encountered we were able to have a good time.
